Before that I spent a year on the digital messaging platform, the infrastructure behind billions of emails, texts, and one-time passcodes a year.
Infrastructure at scale, distributed systems, storage engines, and low-latency infrastructure — the layers other software gets to be interesting on top of. Lately: connection pool internals, consensus protocols, and what it takes to make a system tell you the truth about itself while it's degrading.
M.Sc. in Computer Science and B.Sc. in Computer Science & Mathematics (Honors) from Vanderbilt University, 2025. I did research on set learning and point-cloud classification — paper here — and spent a summer in Oldenburg, Germany, building an STL-to-SMT compiler for verifying temporal logic over dynamical systems.
